We understand the importance of inclusion, equity and safeguarding. We are intentional about tackling the systemic barriers that hinder women and historically marginalized groups from meaningfully participating in and deriving benefits from economic opportunities.
Despite significant progress in advancing equity, safeguarding and inclusion, disparities in access to resources, decision-making power, education and training, and economic opportunities persist. These barriers disproportionately affect women and girls, people with disabilities, refugees and asylum seekers, and groups facing marginalization due to insecurity and socioeconomic inequalities.
To address these challenges, we collaborate with companies, local organizations, community leaders, governments, and citizens to solve complex gender and safeguarding issues and the root causes of exclusion and inequity. We integrate gender smart approaches across equity and inclusion and women’s economic empowerment—embedding these principles into our services and throughout project cycles—from design through implementation and evaluation. Our experts draw on proven methodologies and our thought-leading insights, such as those outlined in the Toolkit for Mainstreaming Gender Equality And Social Inclusion Into Interventions. They integrate best practices in strengthening economic and social outcomes for marginalized groups while building longterm resilience.
